  1. What is Smart YouTube?
  • Smart YouTube is the new feature of BM-5000. It allows you to remove singer’s voice from the original YouTube video. In another words, it can change MTV into karaoke version.
 

2. How to go to Smart YouTube page?

  • Remote control: Press [Eject] icon on Red region > Q: “Whether Execute Smart YouTube TV App or not?” > choose [Confirm] > enter Smart YouTube page
  • Touch Monitor: Home > App > Smart YouTube

3. How to switch vocal/non vocal on Smart YouTube?

  • Remote: select a song > press [Play/Pause] icon (next to Eject icon) on Red region.
 

4. Why do I still hear singer’s voice?

  • Smart YouTube is not a perfect karaoke generation. It only keep the singer’s voice volume lower than the background music, so you can sing. Please noted that only the original Karaoke version (Local disc or Cloud) is the real karaoke version.

5. How to connect Smart YouTube with my smart device?

  • Required: BM-5000, WIFI connection, smart device (iOS/Android), YouTube app in smart device.
  • Follow Section 3: English –   中文
 

6. Touch function doesn’t work on Smart YouTube page. Why?

  • Because this Smart YouTube version is TV version, therefore it will not support Touch Monitor (which is App version).
  • Please use remote control to navigate and select.

7. Smart YouTube page on TV is lagging, what should I do?

  • There are several factors:
    • The Smart YouTube app has errors –> Simply just remove and reinstall Smart YouTube app (see Q8)
    • No internet connection –> check BM-5000 internet status, make sure Antenna is hook up
    • If internet signal is low –> simply exit and re-enter Smart YouTube
 

8. How to remove and re-install Smart YouTube?

  • Remote: Input [00000] > [Enter] > Input [249] > [Enter] > notice TV screen will state YouTube App has downloaded successfully
